Dr. Michel attended Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington, where he obtained his undergraduate degree. The following year, he enrolled at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, eventually earning his Doctor of Medicine and graduating with honors.
Before entering private practice, Dr. Michel completed a residency at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in the Department of Urology. He excelled in the program, earning recognition as a National Pfizer Scholar.
